the doomed baby blanket

how'd i get myself into this? i keep asking myself that as i work on the world's most monotonus (sp?) baby blanket. it's purple, it's acrylic yarn, it's garter stitch, and it's on size 9 needles. the REALLY bad thing is i have to finish it by this weekend. i probably won't, so it's a good thing that the person who's getting it already knows they might not have it until June or July. poor me!
